Oginoya first became famous for selling bento lunches at train stations. Nowadays, they are a franchise with large-scale facilities, even catering to bus tours, but their origins are still very much alive in their best-selling product, a mixed rice dish packed into a small clay pot that you can keep with you as a souvenir.
The store is only a one-minute drive from the Suwa IC, and it also features an extensive shop with a wide assortment of souvenirs.
