Our specialty is Kurumi Karen (walnut sweets), which won a gold medal in the national sweets competition. Shinshu Kuranosuke which is made from Kanten (seaweed based vegetarian gelatin substitute), Miso, Sake and buckwheat is also popular. Pies with Karin (Chinese quince) or celery, and baked sweets shaped Dogu (clay figure) are also recommended.
