The Masked Goddess which was found here in 2000 was later designated as national treasure in 2014. The Park was renamed Nakappara Jomon Park for the occasion and an exhibit replicating the unearthing scene was placed there.
During the excavation they also discovered various holes in the ground where pillars used to stand. As a reenactment, they placed a few reproductions of said pillars as well.
