Poan is an intimate sun-filled restaurant in the highland with large windows overlooking the majestic silhouette of the Yatsugatake Mountains. The establishment is framed by a lovely garden with many different flowers and nut trees and a vegetable patch where the owner grows many of his ingredients. The cuisine is French with a twist to accommodate Japanese elements. The menu features seasonal course meals both for lunch and dinner. Reservation is required at least one day in advance. Attached to the restaurant, there is also a cottage that can be used as lodging.
