Tateshina’s winter tradition, the giant blue ice pillars, has appeared again this year!

This ice art is created by pumping up water from a nearby spring and making it gush out from three pipes in front of the “Kosai no Yu”  hot spring facility located along the Venus Line. The overwhelming size is stunning!
