This is one of the seven public bathhouses run directly by the city.
Located inside a larch forest, not far from the Togariishi Museum of Jomon Archaeology, this onsen feautures both an indoor and outdoor bath.
Jomon no Yu has thermal water in abudance, so much so that they have a "onsen stand" where you can tap hot spring water to bring back home.
The whole building is barrier-free and is provided with floor heating. There is also a small eatery inside where you can order soba noodles if you crave something to eat after the bath.
