Regional dishes prepared with a touch of Kyoto-style refinement

At Kiyomizu, the chef pays his respects to the rich gastronomic tradition of Nagano by using typical ingredients grown and raised in the ideal natural environment of the prefecture.
Their cuisine makes abundant use of freshwater fishes, especially Shinshu salmon (a type of trout).
The most popular item on the menu is the Masu lunch box, which features delicate trout cuts seasoned with the shop's traditional secret sauce laid over a bed of white rice.

There are both regular seats and tatami-mat room seats.
