One of the most well known confectioneries in Tateshina is Kuzoubeimochi. The reason is because their ancestor opened Tateshina hot springs and served them their confections to guests here on the 10th year of Tenpo, year 1839.
You can enjoy 5 different flavours; Mugwort, Shiso, Chestnut,
Walnut and Cherry blossom. The simple taste and abundance of hometown Shinshu conveyed in Taiji Harada's
paintings and designs are very popular amongst travellers.
