Akadake Kosen is a mountain hut on Mt. Akadake renowned for its mouth-watering meals, comfortable facilities, and modern toilets. There is also a bath available during the summer season from the beginning of May to the end of October. If you would rather set up your own tent, the lodge also provides a camping ground with potable water.
In winter, from the beginning of December to the end of March, you can try ice climbing at the artificial ice wall built by the mountain hut's staff.
